I am a Radio/Televison/Film major with a minor in Public Relations at San Jose State University.
In this class I hope to learn how to organize and express my opinions on Media through professional journalism writing. I would like to focus on Electronic and Online Media due to the fact that I use mostly Online Media in my career within the music industry. Also, I feel that Print Media is an outdated business model and will no longer be relevant in the near future. Through the rise of the Internet, Digital Media has changed television, music, and the online world, forcing media corporations to change their ways of doing business. For these reasons I feel it is necessary to understand the importance of Digital Media within our world and allow myself to gain the tools needed to discuss and report on the issues within it.
