Forty passengers evacuated from Northwest Airlines jet.

Forty passengers were evacuated from a Northwest Airlines jet today at LaCrosse, Wis., Municipal Airpot. Flight 428 was spotted having smoke near the wheels by tower employees, following a flight from Minneapolis. 

7-year old missing boy found in Brick Township N.J.

A 7-year old boy who had been missing for three years, was found in Brick Township N.J. on Monday night. A neighbor called police, after recognizing the child's picture when it was shown after the movie Adam : The Song Continues.

1) Good start, but combine your two sentences into one, add the "when," and omit less essential information (flight # and point of origin -- this info can come later).
2) Good. Note punctuation: A 7-year-old boy, missing for three years, was found in Brick Township, N.J., Monday night when a neighbor called police after recognizing the child's picture when it was shown after the movie Adam : The Song Continues.
